    ⚠️You give data, they profit – and you take the risk

    Ultraviner only allows login via Facebook, Discord or Reddit. When I tried Discord, it immediately wanted access to all my groups and servers. That’s very questionable. This is private information, not required for the extension to function, and frankly none of their business.

    Beyond that, the way the extension works is concerning. Free users basically provide the raw data (their Vine queues and product details) that Ultraviner collects, while only paying users get access to the “real” benefits, like alerts or advanced product exploration. In other words, you contribute but don’t benefit.

    It’s also worth pointing out that making Vine product data publicly available like this is against Amazon’s terms of service. So in addition to giving away your data, you’re also putting your own account at potential risk – without any real upside if you’re not paying.

    ⟹ Overall, the safest option is simply not to use it. The login methods are intrusive, the functionality is limited, and the whole setup feels exploitative and risky.

    Ultraviner requires to know what discord groups you are in when logged with discord to be able to operate correctly because of the discord perks. You do not need to log in with discord if you don't want to share this information.

    On your second point, you pretty much just described how the internet works. If you are not paying for something, you are the product. And it is also untrue. The majority of the users are on the free perk because the interface provides many benefits compared to the regular vine experience. Why would the extension have free users if no benefits are present?

    Also, the data is not publicly available at any way. Only users that have access to the data are receiving the data, making your third point also a lie. Ultraviner tries to the best to comply with all Vine guidelines.

    ⟹ Overall, you are here just defaming a legit work that I've been working on for years because you are a hater 🤷. Be better and do better.

    Basically useless without a Patreon subscription. Pretty much all features that go beyond Amazon's default Vine experience show a funny little "xyz requires Ultraviner Turbo subscription" (that's a$10 per month subscription plan for some super half baked software - you have absolutely no shame.)

    Why you'd even release it here at this point is beyond me. You literally can't even show a product's price or bookmark it without paying $10 a month.

    There is basically no point in using it if you don't want to pay a completely overpriced monthly subscription.

    Hmm ok, I am sad to hear that. If you don't see any value on Ultraviner free tier compared to Amazon default interface you should really just keep using Amazon :)

    But the majority of Ultraviner users are using the free tier to have the improved interface.

    The extension forces you to log in (with either Reddit or Discord) to use the most useful features.

    Hi, I am sorry to hear about your experience. Just to clarify, it doesn't ask your Reddit or Discord credentials. It is just an oAuth authentication. Let me know if you need help with it on Discord, Reddit or Patreon.
