I would not use this addon on a computer with valuable data. I ONLY use it on a computer with a program similar to deep freeze that preents the author from hacking my machine installing trojans etc. Not to be trusted.
3-12-25 why does mozilla recommend addons that are blocked by brave develo.pers as being "malware"? Are Mozilla staff trying to promote malware?? If the loser who runs worldwide radio ever gets an upgraded 56.6 modem watch out. If he ever gets a pentium server watch out. This addon MIGHT actually NOT be a piece of JUNK? Use this addon if you want to take alot of coffee breaks while waiting for this Russians server to respond. Maybe Mozilla/ffox should hire this loser since there are also becoming a junk browser.

appears.to be the best of the WORST with no really good radio program available. Has old slow servers and bad net connection so takes forever for it to respond. Author is not a good programmer requires constant reinstalls-cannot keep user id. More junk from Mozilla addons.

author won't sell program to someone who knows how to program. Still requires frequent reinstalls cuz cannot keep setting or access to his slowwwww server. Clunky and slow interface needs to be simplified and WORK. Get rid of your pentium II servers and your 14 baud connection to the net. More junk addons for ffox and others further tarnishing their reputation.

It will cause the CPU frequency to be maintained at the highest level.

Just have not ideal why?like to listen KCRW, it do not work.I have to click and open KCRW website ,play it from website instead of add on itself. That I suppose think it should be.

I did not use it a lot but I did use it to listen to my favorite college stations. However when I updated firefox, as it periodically bugs me to update, the add-on stopped working, and I got a bill for $10.

Please don't install this addon. My antivirus software said, this is a malware.

I like the extension, BUT it seems that it has lost the ability to show the titles of the songs that are playing.
It is possible that some stations don't send that information anymore, but I am not able to find any station where the title of the song that is playing is displayed anymore...
Until this is corrected, only one star.

If you are looking for a radio extension that streams smoothly and seamlessly, this isn't the one. Continuous choppy audio from the stream, and there doesn't seem any way to fine tune in settings.

Grundsätzlich bin ich ein großer Fan des Worldwide Radios. Leider funktioniert er bei mir nicht mehr. Habe die ERweiterung gelöscht und wieder installiert. Kein Ton. Falls jemand eine Idee hat, wo das Problem liegt, würde ich mich über einen Tipp freuen.

Poor guidance on use. For the UK there is only one station for the BBC and that is BBC Persian !! The UK has loads of good music and talk stations without adverts but where are they hidden? Instant uninstall for me.

when I first started to use this, it worked fine. After a couple months away from using it I couldn't get any stations or music genres to work

My about:config settings are OK, but I tried about a dozen different stations in multiple countries, and not a single one plays.

Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. Not to mention, it didn't include any "K" stations from the US, only "W".
