- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 19002459, 5 days ago- The UI refresh causes Ctrl+TAB to be much slower, due to the "adaptive" behavior
- The Options page has a lot of controls, but no explanation and seemingly no effect.
- I installed this to get a black vertical tab bar, nothing else. There is no option.
The Firefox themes also don't work to get a dark tab bar: they put the page also in dark mode. I just want the vertical tab bar to seemingly merge with the frame of my laptop..
This is good for Linux nerds that keep configurating and never do anything productive with their OS :-P - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 18998440, 7 days agoNot very good extension. Its remove borders between headers and all another page and it looks uncomfortable for me, because some pages turns into simple colorful smudge. ColorfulTab has much better work and customization.

posted 5 days agoHi, turtlesrcool88! Thanks for pointing that out. ATBC does overwrites the theme automaticDark sets. I’ll update the add-on description. - Rated 3 out of 5by alialice, 2 months agoI like this extension however there's a problem where signing in fails, signing into Firefox sync says bad request and it gives an error signing into sites such as chatgpt as well. At least look into it first. I use Proton Pass and Ublock origin alongside, with the strictest settings on Firefox. I was able to sign in after disabling this extension.
- Rated 3 out of 5by popeldd, 3 months agogo to "about:config" type "widget.windows.mica" and enjoy the beauty of the already intigrated feature of a true "adaptive tab bar color" that wont be consistently changing your firefox theme and bugging out your operating systems window manager
and btw
:P keep up the work, no true hatred towards you, only respect, im just butthurt.
i still have this installed on my nightly firefox, so hopefully ill come back to change this review, have a great day, thanks
Edit:
- sorry, i think the star rating i put earlier was too harsh... (ill return soon)Developer response
posted 2 months agoHi popeldd, no worries—I appreciate the honesty and the tip! I totally get where you’re coming from, and I’m glad you’re still keeping the add-on around. Hopefully, future updates will make it more useful for you. Have a great day too, and thanks for the support! - Rated 3 out of 5by ueeu, 3 months agothis also change to font of firefox color wish there is a toggle to change the way it work(i may be blind and didn't see it), I will come back and use it if this get added and give 5 star, still kudo to the dev

- Rated 3 out of 5by Long Johns, 3 months agoisn't compatible with dark reader, anything else is perfectly fine just not working with dark reader
Developer response
posted 3 months agoHi, Long Johns! I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Could you check if you have enabled “Change browser theme” in the Dark Reader settings (Dark Reader pop-up → More → All settings → General)? If so, the add-on might not work properly.
If that’s not the case, you may have encountered a bug. I’d appreciate it if you could provide a more detailed description via a GitHub issue or email me at me@easonwong.de. - Rated 3 out of 5by kjamcu, 2 years agoLooks like a cool extension, but what disappointed me is poor customization accessibility (I'm using Windows 10, if that matters). Color picker is working on Windows provided native color picking GUI, so it's very inconvenient when you want to change custom colors for specific websites. I also tried HEX color code system, but nothing worked. Hope you will implement this simple color code system one day - it's far better and handy than HUE/SAT/LUM.

posted 2 years agoHello, Kjamcu! Thank you for trying out my add-on. Personally, I'm a Mac user. The built-in colour picker on macOS is indeed pretty powerful. And that's why I decided to make the add-on use system native colour picker. I'll consider expanding the customization functionality. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14305011, 3 years ago
