posted 5 days agoHi, tsong_! Glad you asked, I’m working on a Zen mod to make Zen Browser compatible with ATBC :D- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18943606, a month ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by AdrX003, 2 months agoBeautiful extension, unfortunately it keeps forgetting all of the custom/specific site list and colors after a few restarts, tried to only start the browser with admin previleges and got no results (Tried on both Firefox and Firefox developer edition, everything up to date from the date of this review, i have a few custom about:config's but only on the main Firefox app, so i guess theres nothing there that could be interfering).
EDIT: Going to test the new 2.4 extension version right now. - Rated 4 out of 5by DragonBrasil, 2 months ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Gen, 2 months agoInteresting idea. Advanced settings are not as advanced as I would like for this to be actually usable. Time delay settings would be nice or a setting to wait until the tab is finished loading. Lots of false changes when the site is redirecting and flashing when it could be resolved by waiting a second. Turning off Dynamic Update of the tab color still sometimes has the tab color update, maybe when opening a new tab, but still distracting and against my wanted behavior. Amazing attempt, maybe Firefox's design disallows the true potential of this idea. I want a browser to do this seamlessly now.
Edit: appreciate the response!Developer response
posted 2 months agoHi Gen, thanks for the thoughtful feedback! I see how a time delay setting could help reduce false changes, and I’m considering adding an option for that. I’ll also look into the issue with Dynamic Update. Appreciate your support and insights! - Rated 4 out of 5by Christopher Bolin, 2 months agoI love this idea but I've had to disable it. On many sites I can't tell which tab is active. When you have many open its hard to hunt and peck when the highlight color is too similar to the rest of the theme.
Developer response
posted 2 months agoHi Christopher Bolin, sorry for the inconvenience! To make the active tab more noticeable, you can change its colour in the add-on’s options page: Theme Builder → Selected Tab. Alternatively, you can quickly adjust it via the add-on popup. Hope that helps! - Rated 4 out of 5by Kaleb, 3 months ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by pati080199, 3 months agoThe only disadvantage as for now is that when I type something in the search bar the first option is highlighted in bright blue. It would be nice to change that color as well.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Adam Boulton, 10 months agoUnfortunate oversight of the addon being that the bookmark overflow menu is not affected by the colour shift which makes the appearence of the browser ui inconsistent, which can be jarring. Would love to see this issue fixed.

posted 3 years agoHello! Sorry for causing discomfort. Are you using Firefox Nightly? Currently, this add-on is not so compatible with it. If not, it will be hugely appreciated if you can file an issue on GitHub: https://github.com/YS-Wong/Adaptive-Tab-Bar-Color/issues, with screen record if possible. I'm still actively fixing the bugs.
Edit: there is a temporary fix for the bug. The add-on works on Nighly & DE now. - Rated 4 out of 5by FlamingRaptor_70, 3 years ago
