- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18103172, 5 days agoPretty cool and usefull, crazy firefox dont have out of the box, BUT this extension would be perfect if the shortcut could be changed, personally I find Crtl+Shift+F10 difficult to remember.

Developer response

Hi ronane,
thanks for your rating.
I machine-translated your review and you seem to want to reverse the position of the input and QR code parts/"boxes".
I actually see your reasoning with that the mouse cursor may hide the QR code part, but in my tests currently that was rarely the case. Maybe you can adjust the settings of the extension, right-click on the extension icon and choose “Manage extension“ for that. There you can e.g. adjust the space around the actual QR code, which may improve the scanning quality: https://github.com/rugk/offline-qr-code/wiki/FAQ#what-is-a-quiet-zone
You may also try to adjust the size or colours of the QR code, in general the better the contrast is the better it is able to be scanned.
Please also note you can access the extension with the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+F10 by default. This hotkey can be modified in the Firefox add-on settings. See https://support.mozilla.org/kb/manage-extension-shortcuts-firefox for more information.
I hope that helped. In general, if you want to suggest a feature for the add-on, please do so on GitHub at https://github.com/rugk/offline-qr-code/issues and open a new issue.
We track the feature requests there and of course people can also implement it then.
Let us know if this helped by adjusting your voting.
Apart from that, if you have any other ideas or issues, feel free to get in touch.
Best regards,
rugk

Salut ronane,
Meilleures salutations,
rugk

posted 5 years agoSee https://github.com/rugk/offline-qr-code/wiki/FAQ#how-to-save-the-qr-code-on-disk for how to save the QR code as an image file. You can then use any software to further edit or print the QR code.
As for Code128 there is currently no intend to add other data code modes. As far as I see Code128 can also only encode numbers and ASCII characters making it quite limited in contrast to QR codes, which are also more widely supported.
If you have further issues or questions, feel free to ask or suggest a feature by opening an issue on https://github.com/rugk/offline-qr-code/issues. Thanks. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13625497, 5 years ago

If you want to suggest a feature for the add-on, please do so on GitHub at https://github.com/rugk/offline-qr-code/issues and open a new issue. (Particularly Thunderbird support, which may or may not be possible, but it's an idea.)
Regarding the color context menu entry: This is consistent with how other add-on do it (and unfortunately not really possible to change without changing the whole add-on icon) and follows Firefox Photon style. Also note you can toggle the colored popup icon in the settings, but it's a different icon. - Rated 4 out of 5by Irving O., 6 years agoMe encanta, puedes convertir URLs o seleccionar texto.

posted 6 years agoThanks for your rating. Actually, you can adjust the error correction level in the settings of the add-on. By default, it is set to “Q”. Right-click on the add-on icon in the toolbar and choose "Manage extension" (or similar in your language).
If this solves your problem it would be glad if you could adjust your voting. Developer response
posted 6 years agoThanks. Actually you can save the QR code locally on your computer. Just right-click on it. See https://github.com/rugk/offline-qr-code/wiki/FAQ#how-to-save-the-qr-code-on-disk
It would be glad if you could upgrade your voting to 5 stars if that solves your problem.- Rated 4 out of 5by syam, 7 years ago
