by Ashley, a year agoProton pass is a good password manager tool. It doesn't have many of the bells and whistles that other pass managers have. The autofill is a little buggy right now but manageable. It is still new and will improve over time. The encrypted password generation & storage is sufficient for my needs.
On desktop, it is simply a browser extension. You can store your accounts, generate strong passwords (up to 64 characters), and lock 🔐 it. It contains a simple Note section, and CC login storage. Separate Authentication Apps and physical security keys are also supported for more login security.
Edit (7/28/2024): I feel like this pass manager has gotten better. They now have dark web monitoring for emails and secure link sharing for info in the manager. So of the autofill is still buggy, but still hoping this will improve over time. I love the email aliasing features and the manager lets you know if you are reusing passwords and if you have weak passwords.
