posted 4 months agoTo clarify, an alias is a randomly generated email address that forwards emails to your main inbox. Proton Pass creates aliases so you can enter them into online forms and protect your actual email address from being disclosed or leaked.
That said, we are currently working on integrating the SimpleLogin alias management feature directly into Proton Pass. Once this feature is released in a future update, users will be able to manage their aliases more easily without needing to switch back and forth between Proton Pass and their SimpleLogin accounts.
Hopefully, this clarifies things further. If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact us using the 'Feedback & Help' option.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Delta, 5 days agoAwful product. No credit cards unless you pay, every other password manager allows this for free. I have premium and it STILL lacks features: no keyboard shortcuts to autofill, wallet items can not have letters in the card number (insurance, driver's licenses, health cards), expiry dates are month/year ONLY. And premium MORE expensive than Bitwarden LOL garbage

posted 4 days agoSorry to hear that. We offer certain features exclusively on our paid plans to ensure the continued availability of our free plan for users who may not be able to afford to subscribe. It's about striking a balance between offering a free service and providing added benefits to our paid subscribers.
On another note, we've shared your feedback with the team for future consideration. That said, keep in mind that you can create notes or custom fields for more specific items that don't fit the available templates (proton.me/support/pass-custom-field).
Lastly, Proton Pass is headquartered in Switzerland, which has some of the world's strongest privacy laws. However, Switzerland is an expensive country to maintain a service in. Nonetheless, we appreciate your feedback and have taken note of it accordingly. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18944004, 5 days ago
