- Rated 1 out of 5by kibababa, 2 days agoWorks good but on some web sites breaks audio completely (e.g. Steam) and it's not possible to know that audio is broken unless you know it should be playing on the website. Too much hustle...
Developer response
posted 2 days agoIts because steam blocks it in their CSP, sadly lots of CDNs do.
I could individually add each one to the FQDNS list, but like you said that's a lot of hassle and it has to be reaproved by mozzila everytime etc.
The way audio source is pulled is on page load. If it's doing it too late lots of sites won't interact with the plugin. Where as its an issue on sites with strict CSP as then it just blocks audio.
So sadly there's nothing I can do about it, without further reducing compatible sites.
Could maybe make a whitelist mode instead of a blacklist mode in the future.
I hope you revise your review as it "works good" - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15478281, 5 months agoTERRIBLE! MAKES EVERYTHING ELSE SUPER LOUD!! I LOWERED ONE TAB AND IT MAKES EVERYTHING ELSE LOUDER. MY EARS ARE BLEEDING

posted 10 days agoIt works but some sites have CSP rules that block it from initializing/breaks audio. Add those sites to the blocklist in the settings.- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18640104, 5 months ago

Muted a whole bunch of sites randomly after they already worked while the extension was installed.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Dav, a year agoIt's stopped working completely. Makes no adjustments to volume and prevents any audio playing on several sites. Tried the permissions thing suggested in the latest change notes, but still won't work so I had to uninstall it.
EDIT: There is no visible means to reply directly. No sound on YouTube or Imgur. Only other plugins are Malwayre Bytes, Surfsharf VPN, LastPass and Gramerly.Developer response

Developer response
posted 2 years agoI have just tried music.youtube.com and setting a negative db with the slider is working at lowering the volume as intended. Also typing a negative value worked for lowering the volume. Mono is also working.

posted 2 years agoMajor update, required new permissions should work on basically every site now.
Do you recall what site you were on? Yes it specifies it only works with HTML audio, this is to require less permissions.- Rated 1 out of 5by Sophie, 2 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by KirkH420, 2 years agoActually all this thing did was cause the sound to cut-out to nothing when I clicked the add-on's button on the firefox toolbar. I had a video with sound but when I click the button I had no sound. Using the db slider seemed to have no affect. Didn't work for my situation but maybe it works for other people in their situation.

Пробовал перезагрузить страницу и переустановил дополнение - одинаково бездарное барахло.

No matter where I slid it, up or down, it completely obliterated my laptop volume so I could hear nothing.
