Update 08/02/2024: This beautiful addon once again stopped working completely:
For a few days before it helped to change from the "timeline view" by clicking on the number of commentaries to switch to the "single post view overlay" to get things working.
Since 2-3 days this doesn't help anymore. The "download" und "multiple download"- icons are still visible, but clicking on them does nothing.

Hello,
Your problem should have something to do with firefox, you cannot re-enable it ? are you in private navigation, have you tried to delete it and then reinstall it back ?

    Not working with stories in a long LONG long time.
    Also some weird glitch where in a batch post with many pictures, it keeps downloading only the first picture of the post no matter how many times you try/click to download other pictures in the post

    Hi! This is my favourite add-on.
    Unfortunately now video story download seems to be broken and often the extension stops working and I have to disable then enable it to start downloading again.
    May you find the time to fix it, please?
    Anyway, thank you for your work.

    Thanks for the extension, but as of 4/28/2026 downloading videos isn't working properly (unless it's from a regular profile page; downloading videos after directly opening video link or through reels tab or through stories does NOT work)

    There are some advantages, but it downloads some videos without sound.

    This add-on is really useful and easy to use. The only downside is that it removes your like instantly after you've given one on a post. It's been like this for years. If only it could be fixed, I'd happily give it 5 stars.

    The download button does not appear everywhere and if this add-on is active, it will also slow down the page loading.

    Back to working smoothly, great extension. Only issue I'd raise is reels downloaded from a users page aren't saved with the time of the upload, but the current real time.

    sometimes works but uses crazy resources and lags my entire firefox every time I open a new ig page. have found another 'downloader for instagram' extension that made me realize I didn't know ig could be so fast.

    This extension led to me not being able to access Instagram at all. As soon as I disabled it, access returned.

    Confirming this is indeed broken, first image appears very zoomed, subsequent pictures appear grey, and no download button.

    Hope it gets fixed because until now it's been a great app.

    broken by now. pics are extra zoomed, download button on preview pane disappeared and still makes instagram really slow and even crash after preview several dozen pics

    사진도 영상도 잘 다운로드 되네요! 아쉬운 점이라면 키보드 단축키(keyboard shortcut)으로도 다운로드 할 수 있었으면 더 좋겠어요
