Excellent extension, it met my needs perfectly. It can identify songs directly from YouTube with precision, including some that are not available on streaming platforms.

I found Librezam is an alternative that doesn't need a subscription to function.

Only mediocre at recognizing songs. Eventually asks me for an "API token" because my limit was reached. GTFO.

It works majority of the imes and I install it in every browser I use. No idea why it has only 3 stars, deserves atleast 4 imo.

edit: oh apparently it bugged out a few months back so thats why it has 3 stars. In its current state its a 5 star for me.

А при включенном впн пишет:
Простите, на этом сайте работает только платная версия.

Good, but completely breaks netflix.

Edit: No longer breaks netflix.

Causes bugs on netflix even when not activated for song search, renders the whole platform basically disfunctional.

Edit: I don't remember it causing any problem on youtube or other video playing websites. But netflix was the only platform which uses DRM. Not sure if it's related.
