I don't have a sync button. Also freezes when pasting a large amount of text. No way to permanently disable spell check

excellent and usefull - i don't really understand the reasons to stop it. At least could you change the storage (a local shared storage will be enough)

a handy add-on but im afraid a few days ago firefox just decided to kind of abandon notes. as a result weirdly on all of my pcs with ff browser that had my account synced, notes was removed and also thus important precious information. on my personal home computer even was important account data and now i probably cant ever access my account again... so it kinda pains me to just give 2 stars for something so handy but i am afraid i cannot give more than 2 starts for all the trouble caused and without knowing whether i will ever see the data again

Notes being useful from the sidebar of your desktop, and as a quick list on your phone, stood out as one of the most useful (but simple) cross platform applications available. No competition.

With Notes (and Send) I was pleasantly surprised that there was a company that still cared about making tools to use the internet.

I would gladly pay a subscription for access to high quality internet utilities like Notes (and Send) that make my life easier. With Mozilla looking for diversified revenue streams surely this is something that could be tried?

Hopefully a solution is found to keep it alive...

Sad to see them end support for this product, but it was good while it lasted. There are other privacy focused notemaking apps as well, so it's not too bad.
