Now its a complete trash. It will freeze your computer, that's guaranteed.
Not only that, the extension wasn't abandoned by the devs. It still gets frequent updates.
Which leads me to think the resource heavy bug not being addressed is not a oversight, it's by design.

- I'm sure this has been repeated over and over again, but the newest update (4.9.99) has slowed down my browser immensely. It's a nuisance and the experience is horrible. I can't even count the amount of times I've experienced this because it's far too many! I hope to see a fix soon.
