I would really love this add-on if highlighting would also work in PDFs. I want to use it mainly for scientific research to faster identify relevant papers. The automatic and very fine tunable keyword highlighting combined with the view on the right hand side showing where the highlights are is EXACTLY what I am looking for. Maybe I missed the relevant setting but changing to highlight in every page did not fix it.

Adding the PDF functionality would make it a really powerful tool for a (maybe almost every) researcher. Please, please add this!

I change tabs/windows and come back to my tab after a long time, the function don't work on this tab (I no longer have the colors on my words). it's work on new tab.

Super add on only,there is a way to open a pop up over the text you want to highlight with the most important settings to make highlighting faster and easier.
For example, a preset color for the marker.
For example with the highlighter from underflyingbirches.
With many Makierungen the side loads very slowly,
it would be good if the page loads first completely and then only the markings.

It works relatively well by opening a new tab and editing it instantly.

I thought it could be due to the user CSS or user script I'm inserting, but it doesn't seem to be the cause.

I thought I had a problem with over 40 extensions, but even if I only enable extensions created by the author, the options screen is often blank.

I thought it was because the browsing history data of the browser was bloated, but even if I deleted all the history and restarted, the option screen often became blank.
