I was at the point where I'd purge twenty trending tweets from my timeline only to get 35 'new tweets', one of which was actually new, 30 were twitter pushing the same trending stuff I'd already purged, and four others were the likes of people I follow. Installed this. Instant relief. Twitter is actually usable again.
