Another extension, apparently identical to this one, needs no permissions. So it worries me that this one requires permission to "Access your data for sites in the chatgpt.com domain" (from Firefox when installing).

The developer responded to my first review (which was deleted?) that it isn't true that the extension requires this. However, this is what firefox tells me before installing. If this is proven to be a mistake, I will of course correct this review.

I have now left out the name of the similar extension to avoid suspicion about any possible affiliation (which I do not have).

LOL, I can't delete reviews... only you can. I already responded to you the first time, but I'll type slower for you this time. It seems you don’t understand how extensions work—this takes no data. If you don’t want to use it, that’s fine; you can stick with the non-functional extension you seem to prefer. For someone who claims to be 'just a user,' you seem to have plenty of time to review and promote someone else's extension (which I'm sure you have no connection to 😜).

I've clearly explained in the comments and description that no data is 'taken'—the only data that goes anywhere is within ChatGPT. Feel free to use the other extension you keep mentioning (and don't worry, I won't review-bomb it like you're doing here… lol).

By the way, if you actually understood how extensions work, you could download the file and inspect the code yourself. Don't worry just keep using that non-working one.
