This is a fantastically useful extension! I'm a performer and occasionally must produce my own self-reels. I've had to copy some of my own videos off YT in order to make them available offline. Since the only copies were on YT, this extension was very helpful! Also great for getting snippets of video for fair use purposes.

works perfectly, only thing is I can't find any MP3 settings, but that's ok!

Really torn between 4 and 5 stars. In a sense, Easy YouTube Video Downloader should get 5 stars for being able to work _at all_ — especially with the Firefox version 115.x.y esr i have to run on my old macOS.

Giving it 4 because it’s very glitchy on my setup: FF seemed to lock up for several minutes. Needed to relaunch FF several times + try a download several times with different settings before eventually getting one which worked. Links generated in menu bar produced useless 0.1 MB files (?!), though the button on the main page did eventually work.

Again, deep, deep gratitute to Dishita for maintaining this software—truly a David vs. Goliath situation. I wish that it worked as seamlessly as it used to a year or more ago, but again, i feel fortunate that it works at all. Some configurations like mine may experience problems. Keep trying, hopefully it will eventually work for you too!

Doesn't work yet it has the gall to spam you with ads asking you to pay the developer. Do not download this adware.

It barely works. Not sure if it's due to age or self-sabotage, but all it does is break playlists, spam tabs under videos, and once it even managed to download the wrong video. There's no option to download MP3 files nor any format besides MP4, it constantly barrages you with popups, and even has the gall to send a salepitch when you remove it. Two stars because it does make mp4's, after like two minutes of waiting, and with the download always attributed to the wrong tab, and always met by an obnoxious popup trying to peddle essential oils or something. I would sooner put my trust in a free vbucks scam site than download this again, one extra star because it does work, probably unintentionally.
