Have emailed support and checked website, but no mention of a fix in-progress. Shame, because when it works, it's does what it says. Often breaking, though - which may or may not be creator's fault.

Works, but sometimes with and sometimes without youtube file names.
On the so called support page it says:
"UPDATE 01-JULY-2019 : A fix v 15.3 for downloads stuck at "Pls. Wait" message is now fixed and pending mozilla's review and approval, this is expected to take upto 48 hours. You can check for latest v 15.3 here - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/addon/easy-youtube-video-download/ ".

They just want money, straight from the start.
"Youtube switched to separate audio/video streaming technology for higher quality formats and no longer provides direct 720p (Since 24 September 2018)/1080p/mp3 streams. Apparently the developer has abandoned support for this add-on but is still accepting donations. I recommend using Video DownloadHelper or Youtube Downloader, both of which (at the time of this writing) are functional and free.

Updated Review: Just did the latest update to this Add-on and the video does not download, it is only a 0bit maker file with no content. No chance at the PRO version now.开发者回应

- 评分 1 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 15100993，6 年前Most videos require the pro paid version. I guess the developer, for his/her work should profit, but seeing as most plugins are free and they are not upfront about paying for the pro version to download, I gave it a one star.
