Version 27.0:
- Firefox Containers are now free for all users, enjoy :)
"Cloud reload" feature is finally here (experimental phase), PRO feature:
- page thumbnails can be now created fully in the cloud!
- this can be used together with "Auto-reload" and "Crop / scale" feature
- thumbnails are created on powerful machines and should always be fully loaded
- this means no more interruptions for Chrome/Edge users, nor partially loaded thumbnails for Firefox users!
- this feature is currently limited to 36 thumbnail reloads per day for PRO users, and 144 reloads for Enterprise users
- currently only on normal web-pages can be reloaded, not yet Group-dials
Small upgrades:
- when adding page to existing Multi-page dial, it will insert it on the clicked place (finally!)
- you can now edit group with double-click (on a group name)
- cloud icon now changes to "sync. pending" icon (same icon with small UP arrow) when you change dials (then in ~9s the data sync. to server)
- clicking "Edit dial" on a Multi-page / Search-dial will now focus clicked link
- added special icon for "sms:" and "tel:" protocols (did you know you create an SMS dial?)
- improved search - now when no filter is used, it will automatically search all (this allows quick search with specific filter when needed)
- improved favicon algorithm, now preferring 48px favicons (plus it can now detect more favicons on pages)
- improved groups/dials text readability against white background
- "Edit group" window has now "Dials" tab with dials specific settings (better organization)
- added group specific option "Always open in New tab/window" options
- added option "On hover show dial title" (similar to "On hover show dial URL")
- improved Timer dial visuals
- upgraded Background setup page, Welcome (tutorial) page, and added new welcome video
- when using new "Image from URL" background, you will be able to click "Random background" from the main menu
- clicking locked PRO feature no longer opens Patreon
- updated main menu icon
Fixed:
- server sync. should no longer refresh currently shown dials (this helps in a group with "live dials")
- many thumbnails generator fixes
- fixed terribly broken Search module (it's still buggy, but less)
- fixed thumbnails generator on browser-protected pages
- fixed moving Live-dials in Grid layout
- fixed Bing background not loading when first enabled
- fixed broken List layout in Chromium browses when item is too big to fit
- fixed missing "Paste" in the context menu of Grid layout
- fixed wrongly showing "Change image" on dials without image
Other:
- min. supported version was moved Firefox ESR 128 (now I'm using more modern and often much faster ES2024 API!)
- upgraded libs and refactored a lot of legacy code
- server has been updated and optimized
- default group (on install) is now "Dynamic" and has now YouTube and Gmail (including favicons)
