Update: I am using Firefox Beta on both windows and ubuntu. Following the update to v19.3 there is a problem with the toolbar button becoming unresponsive after the first click to enter the "preparing" stage, thereafter it is only possible to continue with "editing/suspend editing" by right-clicking on the button and using the context menu.

This bug was accidentally introduced in Version 19.3 and only affects Firefox 55 and earlier versions.
This bug is fixed in Version 19.4, which will be released in a couple of days time. I LOVE this extension. Still, here are two small bugs, which I noticed:
1) Before the bug: The webpage "begins" below the Print Edit Toolbar (when in edit mode) which is good so that the Print Edit Toolbar dos not cover the top part of the webpage. BUG: However, when I do a "delete except" then Print Edit Toolbar all of a sudden *does* cover the top of the page (the page kind of "slips" up under the toolbar at the top). All other editing actions (afai tried) did not make the toolbar cover the top of the resulting page.
2) When I do a print preview, I also get the print settings dialog, which is not needed at that point and only in the way of having a good look at the preview.
1) This bug is fixed in Print Edit WE 19.3.
2) The interfaces to allow switching directly into the Print Preview window are not available in Firefox 55.
There is an 'Important Notice' on the Print Edit WE homepage that describes how to display the Print Preview window when using Firefox 55 or earlier.
When Firefox 56 is released, the Print Preview window will be displayed when you click on the toolbar 'Preview' button. Also, when you click on the toolbar ‘Save’ button, there will be a ‘Save as PDF’ menu item.
So all of the functionality of the original Print Edit will then be available. And 'Print Edit WE' (e10 compatible) is a life saver!
User friendly, intiuitive addon. I use it to clear the cutter before saving web page as PDF (Adobe Acrobat)
Ability to use selectors, and even select multiple ones at once (using SHIFT) - is extraordinary! I like this add-on a lot as it helps me to collect and archive information from the web. It would be great if there is an option to have the title and the link of the original webpage as well as the timestamp of saving automatically inserted in the final saving html output. That will help a lot for the archiving purpose. Thank you.

- save edited web pages as PDF files by clicking on the 'Save' toolbar button and then seleting 'Save as PDF'.
- switch directly from the Edit window to the Print Preview window by clicking on the 'Preview' toolbar button.- 评分 5 / 5来自 Peter Thorpe,8 年前Long time use of the printedit functionality i'm glad there is a webextension version to keep using it, great work.
One thing as a user I found odd was the prep phase. So I pressed the printedit button that opened a new tab and it said PREP over the icon. I expected this to automatically change when printedit was done processing. You actually have to press the printedit button again to go to edit.
I would think if possible it would make sense to automatically change from prep to edit without user intervention.
The preparing [PREP] stage is an intentional part of the design of Print Edit WE.
However, for those users that don't need to use the preparing [PREP] stage, there is a new "Skip prepare stage ..." option in Print Edit WE 20.0.
With the original Print Edit add-on, it was possible to create a perfect replica of the original web page in the editing window, including any adjustments made by the user, such as selecting an internal tab within the page.
With a WebExtensions add-on such as Print Edit WE, it is not possible to make a replica of the original web page (including any adjustments made by the user) in the new editing tab. Therefore, in the preparing [PREP] stage, the user has the opportunity to make any desired adjustments to the web page befores starting editing. No matter what I do, margins are set very small...
Other than that I like the add-on

edit 4/2/2017:
I have raised my star rating on my review after using this for a while now. I emailed the developer on a couple of issues and was surprised at how fast he emailed me back. He told me the fix for one of the issues, and I've just sent him back a link like he asked for regarding the other one.
RE: comment below: on some pages, the page setup margins are just not respected. Next time I come across one, I'll send it to you. I do know the correct way to print preview and I'm *not* complaining about an extra step, because it's not a big deal to me. I never print without previewing first.
After editing the page, it is best to preview the page before printing, as follows:
1. Click on the Print Edit WE toolbar button - the badge will change from EDIT to SUS (suspended).
2. On the Firefox main menu bar, select File > Print Preview.
3. In the print preview window, click on the Page Setup button and configure the required margins.
4. Click on the Print button to print the edited page.
5. Close print preview.
6. Click on the Print Edit WE toolbar button - the badge will change from SUS to EDIT (editing resumed). Webextension version of the original Print Edit add-on I had been using for long.
Thank you developer! When I edit, I like to preview a lot so this is a deal breaker for me. Going back to Print Edit. Good luck.
In response to the developer's comment:
Thank you for the suggestion, but since the regular "Print Edit" extension has a Preview button that actually works, I don't see the need for this extension.
