Icon on app in tool bar often shows wrong status. Often hangs. Blocks after suspend and have to turn extension off then on again. As bad as Proton's Linux VPN app, wish I wasn't a paying customer.

发布于 2 个月前The browser extension is currently not officially supported on Firefox for Android, however, we will work on a mobile-friendly version in the future. In the meantime, you can download the native Proton VPN app at protonvpn.com/download-android. - 评分 1 / 5来自 Jean-Jacques TAKAMURA， 2 个月前Extension has been extremely reliable for me over the years but over the past couple weeks the experience has really gone downhill, the VPN doesn't auto-connect on browser start, it loses connection very often and does not connect to a new server, and it often fails, outright saying I need to re-install the extension, which I have done a couple times now, to no avail. Not sure what they are cooking but I can't say I'd recommend the extension right, I will be sure to update my rating should this be a temporary spell.

That said, if you wish to connect to a specific server of your choice, you may consider upgrading your plan. My free fastest is in Netherlands and I'm in USA.

I constantly have to re-sign in again and again, this happens every few days. no other extensions active.
the worst is that sometimes I don't realize i'm not connected. other times i have to restart the browser to let me connect to the internet.

Це типовий розводняк, але те, що цим займається ця компанія - неприємно. Перевірити мої слова легко, зареєструйтеся з особливим нікнеймом чи новою поштою де ніде не світили, і через декілька місяці ви побачити подібні листи. Не рекомендую використовувати будь яку програму\розширення, бо я сумніваюся, що лише спамом вони обходяться.

With that in mind, Proton is completely trustworthy and has nothing to do with any of the issues you've mentioned.
