These reviews are filled with people that don't understand the actual purpose of this extension. This addon stops YT from playing the next video automatically. It does not prevent a video from starting playback once YOU have clicked on it.

    this ext is grayed out in my list so I cannot use it. it probably works in chrome which i will use upon threat of death. there is NO option to turn off auto play in YT. You will watch the next video and you will enjoy it. oh joy.

    I don't see why all the hate, this thing works PERFECTLY. I guess the low ratings are from people who don't know what this does...

    Really bummed to say this doesn't work. YouTube just keeps throwing videos into my queue.

    Works 99% of the time and is super useful to me. The one caveat is when you visit a youtube homepage. The default video sometimes will play regardless of how this add-on is set. Other than that quirk, which is somewhat of a corner case, this thing is excellent.

    Unfortunately, it doesn't stop autoplay of the next video.

    Does exactly what i want.
    Stops autoplay when a video ends.
    But remains autoplay when a video starts.
    So i dont have to click "Play" for every video, i click on

    Youtube is so stupid.
    This extension fix it

    It doesn't work. The button is there, I have to press it to stop autoplaying videos and refreshing the page turns the button back on.
