It's helped SO MUCH, and while there are only a few sliders, they change everything from amount of scroll, speed of attack and speed fade and the smoothness of it all, to the amount of bounce you get when you reach the bottom of a page.
That said, there's a learning curve involved, and it's pretty hard to dial in the perfect settings. Everything is easy to understand, it's just hard to know how changing [this option] [this much] will affect everything, and how moving [this slider] at all will affect [this option] over here.
Maybe better thought out presets for those of us who swoon at this level of customization would be helpful? Or maybe a tutorial somewhere to hold the hands of those that need it?
In any event, if you're having trouble with your scroll, or you just relish the idea of being able to change every aspect of your browsing experience, than give this one a try! - Very customizable, though I haven't found my perfect settings yet. Trying to get rid of lag completely without making scrolling an uncontrollable mess. Maybe expert users can post their preferred settings, so new users can try them out and see what works for them.
For those who can't find the YASS configuration settings, you have to go to the list of Firefox extensions (about:addons) and click the "..." button next to Yet Another Smooth Scrolling WE. From the context menu, select "Options".
That seems to be the only way to get there, as the configuration screen is not available from YASS's Manage Extension page. Maybe the creator of the extension can fix this? - 评分 4 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 14337877, 5 年前Functions great. Only troublesome aspect for me is that if I toggle the extension to 'disabled' in the toolbar icon, it will forget this choice and start 'enabled' the next time I quit and launch Firefox.
I only use the extension on a minority of my systems where my mouse driver has bad scroll configurability, so I'd much rather have to toggle on there than toggle off the majority of times I start the browser.
While I'm being critical of an extension which someone has made and released to absolutely no cost to me, the ability to explicitly type in values in the configuration screen (vs only being able to adjust the sliders) would be a plus as well, in my eyes. - 评分 4 / 5来自 Young Insane, 6 年前

The presets are kind of useless, except as a guide for creating your own custom configuration. Also it doesn't work on some pages, ironically this page being one of them.

So may you can increase the value higher then 300 on "Step size of the movement".
Thanks in advanced.
