Love this add-on! I tried several others but this is the only one that actually works. It's lightweight and doesn't crash my browser. I'm using Waterfox on a PC/laptop, Windows 11. Thank you!

Great extension that helped me prevent wasting hours on youtube doom-watching. Now I actually search for specific videos to watch instead of letting youtube trap me. And even if I want to see my recommendations to find quality content, the hover delay helps to not overwhelm me with choices. Great extension. For the developer: I noticed sponsored video's don't get blocked right now. I'd be great if you could update that.

This extension has saved me hours of my life. I used to watch so many useless videos that I didn't need to. It single-handedly turned youtube into a powerful tool instead of a vice to be curbed.

Uniquely classy and functional UI in a lightweight addon. Deserves to earn an epic # of users and the Recommended icon.

Does what it says in the tin. I really like the hover option to reveal the recommended video. Really slows down your browsing and makes you intentional about what you want to watch

Great job! The extension works great and is well designed. Hope this picks up more users. I'm surprised there isn't more youtube blockers, it's one of the most addicting websites out there.

The add-on does exacly what is says it does in the description: "Search results and direct links are still available."
I do think it has 5 star potential, but there are some aspects bugging me.

The main one being that Subscriptions are blocked; I wouldn't consider the Subscriptions Tab as Recommendations, because those are videos that I personally choose to watch, not videos that Youtube is trying to make me watch.

The same goes for the Library tab, I think its blocked by mistake especially since the single elements of it (History, Watch Later, Playlists) are not blocked.

If the developer changed this or added a setting to make the blocking less "radical" I would definitely give it 5 stars!

Indeed it does block the video recommendations when viewing a video, it does work as stated, re-emerging when mouse is hovered over the blank video suggestion boxes on the right side of page. Quite neat that, It'll be very handy for many people.

EDIT: And with version 1.0.2 the YT main page recommendations are blanked out as well. What more can we want from an app like this. It does what it says on the tin. It does away with those pesky 'recommendations' that YT want to force upon us, that up until a short while ago we had to toggle away manually every time we accessed the main YT page should we not want to see those recommendations. Then YT even took that ability away from us!, now with this great app it is all taken care of.

All in all with ver. 1.0.2 it is worth the full FIVE stars, this app is well worth getting. Good creative work, have not seen another program with these features. Marvellous effort.
Without the Firefox add-on developers, things would be a lot more difficult for Firefox users. So many thanks for that.
