Works on YouTube, Twitch - great for watching multiple streams with audio in separate ears. The UI is a little buggy, the gain and pan sliders always revert to default when opened (the actual audio remains where you set it tho)

Some videos wouldn't play sound in the browser, but this extension—and adjusting the "pan" setting—fixed the issue. Thank you

I installed this to try to fix one problem - the dreaded Youtube not playing the first fraction of audio in a video, typically causing silence to the first two syllables. Clicking "mono" fixes this problem and seems to work throughout a viewing session from one video to another. Taking one star off because I would like this to remember my setting for Youtube until I change it. Sometimes Youtube glitches and I need to refresh the page but refreshing the page means I need to set the SoundFixer again.

Works, but doesn't remember the volume level between episodes on Netflix, so you have to reapply the settings very often. Annoying.

on macOS it just cuts the audio whenever a slider is touched

This at the surface level is a great extension. The lack of ability to designate domain-level settings that save between windows is unfortunate, thus the four instead of five stars.

The whole reason for wanting volume control on individual tabs for many users is so the user doesn't have to repeatedly set the volume every time the next entry loads (like on FB reels, Instagram stories, or Youtube shorts).

I keep my 8W stereo HDMI-attached speakers (built into an Asus 28" 4K monitor) at 100% and my Windows 10 Volume slider at 50% normally. I thought this would help level the sound on Youtube, if not anything else.

I've had this extension installed for almost two years and forgot about it because it didn't change anything. In that time I still constantly encounter videos where I can't turn the volume up enough to hear, and more often videos that come obnoxiously loud at only 1/4th the volume on the Windows taskbar Volume slider.

Obviously I must be doing something wrong, such as perhaps misinterpreting the purpose of this extension.
