- Rated 3 out of 5by HonestReviews, 3 years ago11-25--22: what is needed is an addon that SUCCESSFULLY fakes working javascript and subsitutes random false values. None of them do that, this one included. They site will just block you until you submit to their spyware-identify you javasscript. Some sites are making it impossible to use this addone to granular change which js variables are allowed and they do not give back info on which js variables they are identifying you with with this addon. It's bric a brac and doesn't really do much but allow sites to block you because no javascript. Too much trouble to change settings have to load cfg file each time. Not a good user manual to tell you which variables you can SUCCESSFULLY block. No updated list of user agents to select from.
8-1-22: new "developer" messed up the safe config function such that saved config files now give error messages and you have to manually check each config file to make sure it's doing what you THINK it's doing. SLOWWWWW to load painfully slow.
A good extension to see how just about every site is phoning home to facebook, google and so many others trying to id and track you. Can't maintain settings on chrome based epic browser-have to be reset every time you load the browser. No good instruction manual or information requires nerdy coding and web developer knowledge to use it properly-not everyone is a coder. SLOW to load, waiting to configure it. Cannot choose folder for saving configurations for future use. Maybe the new developer can help this extension. User needs more information on what all these spyware connections mean and which ones must be blocked. Help!
